  • Dr. CK Boris Wong

    Doctor of Optometry

    Dr. CK Boris Wong completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Optometry degree from the Univerisity of Waterloo.

    He has completed a residency program accredited by the ACOE in corneal disease and specialty contact lenses at the University of Waterloo. As a resident, he completed over 200 orthokeratology (AOK) exams, and over 450 specialty lens exams including scleral lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses for keratoconus. He now continues to teach at the University of Waterloo as a part-time clinical instructor at the Cornea, Contact Lens and Myopia Control Clinic where he teaches specialty lens fittings including AOK, RGP and scleral lenses for advanced eye conditions.

    Dr. Wong is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. Dr. Wong now hopes to bring his skill set into his own clinic to push the standard for AOK and specialty lenses, and continues to wear AOK himself for regular use. He is fluent in Cantonese, English, and conversational in Mandarin

  • Dr. Liana (Anjingyao) Liu

    Doctor of Optometry

    Dr. Liu completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at McGill University. She then continued her studies at the University of Waterloo, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours. She is licensed to diagnose ocular diseases, prescribe therapeutics, and to fit contact lenses including ortho-keratology lenses (Ortho-K/ A-OK Lenses). She has special interests in dry eye management and myopia control.

    Dr. Liu has completed her clinical externships in Sarnia, Ontario and Grande Prairie, Alberta. During her training, she developed high proficiency in managing ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and co-managing refractive and cataract surgeries. She served as an executive member with the Contact lens Interest Club and Low Vision Interest Group. She is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrist.

    Dr. Liu is natively fluent in English and Mandarin and is accepting patients of all ages. During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.

  • Dr. Jennifer Tran

    Doctor of Optometry

    Dr. Jennifer Tran completed both her undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo both with Dean’s Honours. She completed her clinical externships in Toronto and Newmarket, where she developed high proficiency in ocular disease management, ranging from glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, to dry eye disease. She was also involved in co-managing pre-op and post-op care for laser refractive surgery patients.

    Dr. Tran has years of experience in fitting specialty contact lenses including RGP and Ortho-K/ A-OK lenses. She has a special interest in dry eye management and myopia control. She believes in a patient-centred approach and is passionate about educating her patients to help them understand how to preserve their vision and eye health.

    Dr. Tran is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists.

    Fluent in English and Cantonese, Dr. Tran provides comprehensive eye exams to patients of all ages. Dr. Tran is excited to be the primary eye care provider for her patients in the Markham community and beyond.

  • Dr. Tina Nuo Ja Lin

    Doctor of Optometry

    Dr. Tina Lin completed her undergraduate degree at Western University, earning her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Waterloo, graduating with Dean’s Honours. She completed her clinical training in Morden, Manitoba, Waterloo, Ontario, and Newmarket, Ontario, where she trained under several optometrists and ophthalmologists. She was involved in the care of a wide variety of ocular conditions, such as dry eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration and is licensed to fit ortho-keratology lenses (Ortho-K/ AOK Lenses).

    She is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

    Dr. Lin strives to provide quality and culturally sensitive patient-centered care and is passionate about educating patients and the public about their eye health. She is excited to practice in Scarborough where she was born and raised.

    Dr. Lin is natively fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Teochew.
